Small but mighty

Designed for free-form carving, sculpting, detailing and texturing, the new Arbortech Precision Carving System may be the smallest wood carving attachments from Arbortech, but boy are they mighty! Designed to work with the Arbortech Power Carving Unit  or a 100mm or 115mm angle grinder with an M14 threadthe four interchangeable precision attachments accuracy, control and attention to detail.

Tight spaces

Based on its popular full-sized counterpart, this scaled down Precision Ball Gouge enables users to shape smaller radii, getting into even tighter spaces. Carve smooth hollows and dips on a smaller scale with the 15mm diameter ball. This miniature gouge is great for 3D shaping and texturing. Adjust the ball attachment to get the angle you want and away you go!

Controlled carving

The Precision Barrel Carver offers controlled carving on the outside of the barrel. Create right angle corners, smooth edges and get into those tricky tight spots with this versatile attachment. The Precision Barrel Carver cuts on two planes for tight corners and can be used on the side, at an angle or upright to bore down into wood. The Precision Barrel Carver is great for flat edge shaping, deep or shallow profiles.

Polished finish

Finish and polish off your project to perfection with the Precision Drum Sander’s high and low grit sanders (60 grit and 120 grit). Picking up where the Precision Barrel Carver left off, use the Precision Drum Sander for shaping and controlled sanding everytime.

Interchangeable heads

Delve deep into those hard to reach areas thanks to the slim design of the Precision Carving System Universal Base. Engineered to fit the Arbortech Power Carving Unit, the Universal Base can be used to easily interchange the three precision heads. Or simply use an M14/5/8″ angle grinder, to create the ultimate precision carving machine.

The Arbortech Precision Carving System is designed for free form carving, sculpting, detailing and texturing. The system consists of a Universal Base, which fits onto the Arbortech Power Carving Unit or a 100mm or 115mm angle grinder with an M14 thread. Into this base you have the choice of attaching either the Ball Gouge, Barrel Carver or Drum Sander. The system also contains two sanding sleeves, hex keys and instructions. The tools are very well designed, the universal base provides support and stability during the cutting process. Changing from one option to another is simple. The Precision Ball Gouge is similar to its larger cousin. This smaller 15mm version enables you to carve tighter radii and get smaller spaces. Use it to create smooth hollows and dips. The Precision Barrel Carver (15mm diameter) offers controlled carving on the outside of the barrel and can create right angle corners. It can be used on the side, at an angle or upright to bore into wood. Finally the Precision Drum Sander, (16mm diameter) smooths and finishes as well as gentle shaping and refining. It comes with a 60 and a 120 grit sleeve.
